Who are the teachers and guides?

Our platform exclusively provides independent, licensed Austrian ski instructors, ski guides, and mountain guides with at least 10 years of experience in the Arlberg region. All of them have valid professional liability insurance and work independently of ski schools. We have been working with all of the instructors we provide for many years, so quality is guaranteed.

Where can I book lessons?

The offer covers the entire Arlberg region: Lech, Zürs, Warth, Schröcken, St. Anton, St. Christoph. Meeting points (hotel, valley station, etc.) can be arranged individually.

What does a typical day of skiing look like?

  • Start zwischen 9:00–10:00 Uhr, Mittagspause, Unterricht bis ca. 15:00 Uhr
  • Im Frühjahr und auf Wunsch möglich: früher Einstieg ohne bzw mit kurzer Kaffeepause

  • Halbtageskurse (2 h) bei kurzfristiger Buchung per Telefon/E-Mail

What is included in the price?

What are the cancellation conditions?

  • Free cancellation up to 14 days before the start of the course 

  • The full amount is due for later cancellations

Which slopes and areas are recommended?

Our guides will take you to the best slopes and tours: 

  • Langer Zug (80% gradient) – for very good skiers
  • Zürser Täli, Madloch, Stierfall/Stierloch – perfect for leisurely and freeride tours
  • Weißer Ring, Kandahar, and Run of Fame – highlights on the Arlberg

Is heliskiing available?

Yes – exclusively in Lech/Zürs: Heliskiing & heliboarding start from the Kriegerhorn or Flexenpass to the peaks of Mehlsack (2,652 m) and Schneetäli (2,450 m). Descent time approx. 1 hour. Bookings via an experienced ski/mountain guide.

What languages do the instructors speak?

Our ski instructors/guides speak German and English, and some also speak French and Spanish (depending on the instructor).

What equipment do I need?

  • Basic equipment (skis, ski boots, helmet) must be provided by the participant – please have it checked professionally in advance (e.g., bindings). Safety equipment – such as ABS/Pieps for off-piste skiing – will be recommended by your instructor if necessary. 

  •  

    Recommendation: layered ski clothing, warm gloves, UV protection goggles. Many rental shops in Lech/Zürs offer modern all-mountain sets; your guide will help you choose and make a reservation.

When is the best season for skiing?

  • The season usually runs from late November to late April, depending on snow conditions.

  •  

    Best time: mid-December/mid-April – firm firn snow, sunnier days – ideal for off-piste skiing and all-day training.

How flexible are last-minute bookings?

  • Last-minute bookings (2 hours/4 hours): often possible on the same day, depending on availability – directly by phone/WhatsApp (+43 680 146 28 40).

  •  

    Day courses: please book at least 1–2 days in advance, especially during peak season or on weekends.

Are there alternatives in case of bad weather?

  • In case of extreme weather or avalanche danger, your guide may postpone or adjust the course.

    Alternative indoor or dry training sessions (e.g., technique & theory) are possible – please clarify in advance.

Are there group-specific offers?

  • Family courses, couples, small groups (max. 4–5 people) are possible – prices + $40 per additional participant.

  •  

    Groups of 6 or more people can be accommodated if booked together on a private ski instructor platform.

Are there any special highlights or additional services?

  • Photo/video analysis at piste speed (e.g. by privatskilehrerlech-lech.at) to improve technique.

  •  

    Gourmet lunch in selected huts (e.g., Balmalp, Griggeler Stuba): guide reserves in advance. 

    Heliskiing & ski tours: exclusive peaks such as Mehlsack or Schneetäli, duration approx. 1 hour ascent/descent.
