General information about SkiArlberg:
The Arlberg region benefits from a very long skiing tradition. Due to its diversity and the immensity of the place beginners as well as highly skilled skiers will get their money worth. The area is also especially attractive for freeriders and to go off-piste.
When it comes to the booking of a private ski instructor we distinguish between skiing on serviced pistes / „close-to-serviced pistes“ and freeride/ski tours that are done off-piste.
Depending on your skills your ski instructor for sure will show you some of these top-interesting and beautiful slopes:
Langer Zug: is one of the steepest serviced pistes worldwide and is in addition also a topographical must-see. Its sharp descent of 80% it is particularly suitable for very well skilled skiers.
Zürser Täli: is a slope which offers a great experience on serviced slopes as well as off-piste tours with magnificent view for real epicures.
Madloch: is the world-renowned connection between Zürs and Lech and you will ski through the mountain region at Weisser Ring. If you prefer freeriding from Zürs to Lech you have the option to leave your tracks at Stierfall or Stierloch in a wonderful powder snow.
Wiesele: Your ski instructor will be pleased to show you also this connection from Zürs back to Lech. This slope directly ends at the ski bus stop – direction back to Zürs or Lech.
Kandahar: The steep Kandahar world cup downhill slope down to St. Anton is a further highlight for skiers on Arlberg.
Weisser Ring: A famous ski-link that leads from Lech to Zürs and back again.
Run of Fame: is the most stunning ski tour on serviced pistes around the whole Arlberg area. It leads from St. Anton to Warth or the other way around. The 85 km and 18.000 meters altitude difference require a rather fast pace and have to be planned for the whole day.

Murmeli: To put the emphasis on the special taste of best products – that’s the concept of this small restaurant awarded with “2 Hauben”.
Griggeler Stuba: awarded with „3 Hauben“ directly next to the slope.
Verwallstube Galzig: Placed at height of 2085m one of the highest situated European award-winning restaurants.
Himmeleck Gampen: Combining best traditional cuisine with Tyrolean rustic atmosphere.

Especially in Lech and Zürs you will find a huge number of 4- and 5-stars hotels which convince by a combination of familiar atmosphere and exclusive, discreet service. For this reason the number of regular guests is very high so that we recommend an early booking.
